Dean Mead Continues Growth with the Addition of Joey Naberhaus in Viera

Viera, Fla. – Dean Mead, a business law firm with five offices across Florida, announced that Joseph “Joey” Naberhaus has joined its Viera office as Of Counsel in the Litigation department. He focuses his practice on matters involving trust and estate litigation, guardianships, commercial and business litigation, and real property disputes.  He also has significant experience representing hospitals, physicians and other healthcare professionals in administrative proceedings before the Florida Department of Health and the Agency for Healthcare Administration, as well as counseling clients on a wide range of insurance coverage matters.

Prior to joining Dean Mead, Naberhaus was in private practice for six years at a statewide law firm.  He has experience acting as outside general counsel for an airport authority. In addition, his civil litigation experience involved malpractice and tort defense, probate, commercial and residential foreclosures, employer wage and discrimination defense, and landlord/tenant disputes.

“Joey brings a wealth of knowledge to our business clients, as well as strong family ties to the successful practice established by Rob and Michelle Naberhaus,” said Claudia Haines Jones, managing shareholder of Dean Mead’s Viera office. “Together they will expand the firm’s depth and breadth of experience handling sophisticated cases involving commercial litigation, probate, trust litigation and guardianships.”

Naberhaus is a member of The Florida Bar, Brevard County Bar Association, and the Vassar B. Carlton American Inn of Court. He is also active in the local community through his service as Past President of the Rotary of Suntree. Additionally, he’s a graduate of the class of 2013 of LEAD Brevard.

Naberhaus was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida, where he attended high school at Melbourne Central Catholic. After graduating from high school in 2003, he attended the University of Florida in Gainesville and received his undergraduate degree in business administration in 2007.  He earned his law degree, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2010.
