Employment Litigation

Aggressively representing our clients in all matters of litigation concerning work-related issues, Dean Mead regularly appears before the Department of Justice (DOJ), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR), state and federal trial level and appellate courts, the tax court, arbitration panels, and internal mediations.

In both federal and state courts, we assist in defending our clients – or pursuing their claims – when post-employment disputes arise in the administrative and civil arenas. These disputes may include:

  • Wage, hour and overtime claims
  • Employment discrimination and harassment disputes
  • Disputes over employment contracts and policies
  • Employee benefits issues
  • Alleged employee safety violations
  • Alleged retaliation in the workplace
  • Protection of trade secrets and confidential information
  • Enforcement of restrictive covenants, such as non-competition and non-solicitation agreements

With goals squarely focused on the client’s business needs, we use all appropriate dispute resolution strategies and mechanisms to bring about the best possible results.
