Practice Area

Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation

Dean Mead represents employers in all variety of issues arising from, or related to, claims of discrimination or harassment – such as for race, gender, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, veteran status, genetic information, and marital status.

More and more frequently, our clients are experiencing retaliation-based claims. These can take the form of whistleblower claims under various state or federal laws, as well as claims based on age discrimination, gender discrimination in the workplace, civil rights violations, and non-compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or FLSA, among others.

Our lawyers are experienced in handling and trying employment-related litigation – including workplace discrimination, harassment laws, and retaliation claims – in proceedings before federal, state and local equal-employment agencies, as well as in the federal and state courts.
