Dean Mead shareholder, Michael D. Minton, presented “With Adversity Comes Opportunity” at the Third Annual Business & Manufacturing Conference on October 8, 2015. The breakfast program was held at the Knight Center for Emerging Technologies located on the Indian River State College Main Campus in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Minton discussed both the adversity – contraction of Florida’s citrus industry; and the opportunity – expansion of value added agricultural processing capacity in Florida to fill the void or limitations caused by California drought and other constraining factors and to meet the needs of expanding domestic consumption in Florida.
