Seasoned Litigator Leslie White Joins Dean Mead in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Dean, Mead, Egerton, Bloodworth, Capouano & Bozarth, P.A., a business law firm with five offices across Florida and headquarters in Orlando, recently announced that Leslie White has joined its Orlando office as Of Counsel in the Litigation department. As a legal veteran with nearly 20 years of experience, White has devoted her career to representing the rights of creditors in many areas, including foreclosure, replevin, bankruptcy, debt collection and commercial litigation, throughout the state of Florida. “Leslie’s extensive knowledge of creditors’ rights, coupled with her prestigious work and proven results make her an excellent addition to the firm,” said Marc Chapman, President of Dean Mead. “Her industry knowledge will enhance the value we deliver to our clients.”

Prior to joining Dean Mead, White worked at Rush, Marshall, Jones & Kelly, P.A. in Orlando where she focused her practice on foreclosures, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, workouts, reformation actions, quiet title actions, writs of possession and evictions. There, she served as chair of the foreclosures department.

“I’m thrilled to join the team at Dean Mead,” White said. “They have given me the unique opportunity to help grow the firm’s creditors’ rights department, and I’m looking forward to advancing this team with new ideas. In addition, because Dean Mead has a multi-disciplined litigation department, I’m now able to give my clients expanded capabilities, utilizing the talent and support that’s long been a hallmark of this full-service law firm.”

White received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. She is a member of The Florida Bar, the Alabama State Bar and the Orange County Bar Association.

“Leslie works almost exclusively in creditors’ rights law and brings a valuable skill set to our existing commercial litigation practice,” said David Hathaway, Chair of the Litigation department at Dean Mead. “Her positive personality and approach to client service has made her quite successful in advising a large number of clients, including banks and other significant financial institutions, for almost two decades.”
