Michael Minton Speaks at UF Law Graduation

Fort Pierce, Fla. – Michael Minton, shareholder at Dean, Mead, Minton & Zwemer, was the alumni welcome guest speaker at the Spring 2015 University of Florida College of Law commencement ceremony on May 17, 2015 at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Gainesville, Florida. This year’s class included 291 graduating students receiving Juris Doctor degrees, as well as 32 students who were awarded a LL.M., Master of Laws in Taxation.

“It was a pleasure to speak at this year’s graduation,” said Minton, Chair of the Law Center Association Board of Trustees, University of Florida Levin College of Law. He welcomed the graduates into the ranks of the Gator nation by stating, “There are more than 21,000 alumni of the University of Florida Levin College of Law which creates limitless networking opportunities for UF graduates. The Gator nation knows no boundaries.” He went on to point out that there has even been a Gator Club at the South Pole!

Minton holds three degrees from the University of Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University in 1979, and went on to earn his law degree, 1981, and Master of Laws in Taxation in 1982, from the University of Florida College of Law.
