Dean Mead Welcomes Michelle Naberhaus: Probate, Trust and Guardianship Litigator

VIERA, Fla. – (May 11, 2015) – Dean Mead, a business law firm with five offices across Florida, announced that Michelle L. Naberhaus has joined its Brevard County office as Of Counsel in the Estate and Succession Planning department. Naberhaus has more than 15 years of experience and is well-known throughout the Space Coast for her broad industry knowledge and strategic approach when advising clients.

Naberhaus focuses her practice in the areas of probate litigation, trust litigation, and guardianship litigation, representing individuals and fiduciaries in estate-related litigation and complex guardianship proceedings throughout the State of Florida. She also represents fiduciaries in the administration of estates and guardianships, providing legal counsel as to the obligations of fiduciaries under Florida’s Probate Code and Trust Code.

In addition to her legal practice, Naberhaus is an accomplished speaker, author, community volunteer and business leader. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Brevard County Bar Association and as a member of the Probate Rules Committee of The Florida Bar. She has also held leadership roles for the Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Brevard County Association for Women Lawyers.

Additionally, she serves on the board of directors for multiple organizations including The Haven for Children, Brevard Cultural Alliance, and the Women’s Business Center of the Florida Institute of Technology. She and her husband, Rob Naberhaus, also an attorney at Dean Mead, are co-chairing this year’s March of Dimes Signature Chef’s Auction.

Naberhaus is a past recipient of LEAD Brevard’s “4 Under 40” award, and in 2011, she was recognized by the Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce of East Central Florida for her dedication and commitment to the community.

Naberhaus earned her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000, and a bachelor of arts degree in political science in 1997 from the University of Florida.
