Dean Mead Sponsored the UCF College of Medicine Spring Luminary Event on April 11th

Dean Mead is one of the signature sponsors of the University of Central Florida College of Medicine Luminary Series. The Spring event was held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park with more than 100 attendees from central Florida’s business community.  The featured speaker was Dr. Sampath Parthasarathy. He presented the topic:  Open Sesame: New Ides for Treating Heart Disease. 

Dr. Parthasarathy is an internationally known cardio vascular scientist who holds the UCF College of Medicine’s Florida Hospital Endowed Chair in Cardiovascular Sciences and is Associate Director for Research at the college’s Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences.
