Brad Gould Moderates Panel Discussion at the 2013 ABA Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Fort Pierce, Fla. – Brad Gould – a shareholder at the law firm of Dean, Mead, Minton & Zwemer – recently served as the moderator for the Current Developments Program given by the S Corporation Committee of the Section of Taxation of the American Bar Association (ABA). The program was given at the ABA Section of Taxation’s annual meeting on May 10, 2013, in Washington, D.C.

The ABA’s Section of Taxation offers education about taxes and tax systems, and provides leadership to support the development of an equitable, efficient and workable tax system.

Gould led the panel discussion regarding recent legislative, administrative, and judicial developments relating to S corporations. Expert panelists included: Sara Graditor of Roeztel & Andress in Fort Lauderdale, FL; Jennifer Gurevitz of Looper, Reed & McGraw in Dallas, TX; and, Professor Robert K. Morrow of Chapman University School of Law in Orange, CA.

Gould practices in the area of federal income, estate, and gift tax law and business succession planning. He represents businesses and business owners in all types of business and tax matters, including choice of entity, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and other general business matters. Gould represents individuals, businesses and fiduciaries before the Internal Revenue Service and also counsels clients on estate and wealth preservation planning matters.

Gould received his law degree in 2001 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from the University of Florida in 1998.
