Tim Sobczak, who is based in the firm’s Orlando office, is Board Certified in Business Litigation by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization, which recognizes his special knowledge, skills, proficiency, and professionalism in his commercial litigation practice. Sobczak has handled a variety of complex civil litigation matters, including contract and business disputes, real estate contracts, property disputes, trade secrets, and non-compete agreements, landlord and tenant litigation, and trusts and estates litigation. Throughout Sobczak’s practice, he has focused on presenting his client’s strongest case, including at trial and on appeal. He has tried dozens of trials and evidentiary hearings and takes pride in aggressively advocating for his clients.
Board certification is The Florida Bar’s highest evaluation of attorneys’ competency, experience and professionalism in the areas of law approved for specialization. The Florida Bar maintains high standards lawyers must meet before seeking certification in one or more of the 27 areas of law approved by the Florida Supreme Court for board certification. Even if an attorney does meet the stringent application criteria, judges and other lawyers must evaluate the lawyer as to character, ethics and professionalism. The lawyer must also pass a rigorous examination or meet strict criteria to exempt the exam before officially earning board certification. Additional information about Board certification is available at FloridaBar.org/certification.
