Recent Actions Taken by House of Representatives on Climate Change Bill

Below is a link to an article regarding recent actions taken by the House of Representatives on the climate change Bill which is making its way through the House. As indicated in this article, the House has made some important concessions regarding the role of agriculture in the cap-and-trade program which the Bill would establish. More particularly, the new version of the Bill would allow the offset program to be overseen by the USDA, as opposed to the EPA, as originally drafted. This is very good news for agricultural enterprises.
