Michael Minton Featured Presenter at Florida TaxWatch 2018 Conference

Dean Mead Tax attorney Michael Minton was the featured Tax Policy Discussion speaker at the 2018 TaxWatch Conference. His presentation focused on Opportunity Zones. Minton is the current chair of the Tax Section of The Florida Bar, and he also is the chair of Dean Mead’s Agribusiness and Solar Energy teams.

The 39th Annual TaxWatch Meeting in Ponte Vedra provided attendees the opportunity to engage in discussions about future TaxWatch research and the issues that are most critical to Florida’s success, led by the extraordinary and accomplished volunteer leaders of TaxWatch.

Minton represents family businesses with an emphasis on generationally owned agricultural businesses. He assists with their organizational structure, federal income, estate and gift tax planning and business succession planning. He offers his clients extensive experience focusing on tax issues related to agribusiness, as well as water resource issues and new innovative uses of land for value-added propositions.
