Jay Van Heyde to Speak at NCEO Annual Conference

Dean Mead shareholder, Joseph “Jay” Van Heyde II will be speaking in Denver, CO at the Annual Conference of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) on Thursday, April 23rd on the topic of “Assessing the Fairness of Warrants and Stock Appreciation Rights” in ESOP transactions and employee owned corporations. His presentation will focus on the fiduciary, valuation, corporate and income tax aspects of the use of stock warrants (a form of stock option) to assist in the financing of the acquisition of employer securities by Employee Stock Ownership Plans, and the implementation of a Stock Appreciation Rights (SAR) Plan by an ESOP company to reward and incentivize key employees through equity based compensation.
