Last week, our firm was honored at the 27th Annual Golden Brick Awards hosted by the Downtown Orlando Partnership at Church St. Station Ballroom.  We were thrilled to receive the top award in the category for Office Renovation, recognizing the outstanding design and collaboration among team members that characterized our Orlando office relocation to CNL Tower II in July 2016.

At our new home in the heart of Orlando’s central business district, space and technology are designed to foster collaboration and client service at every turn. Bright, open spaces and fresh, modern styling provide an inviting environment for our law firm’s attorneys and staff to interact and connect with clients.

One of the first things visitors notice are the great views, inside and out. Floor-to-ceiling windows set the tone with a panoramic perspective of downtown, including Orlando City Hall and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Our renovation of nearly 24,000 square feet on the seventh floor of CNL Tower II features a state-of-the-art conference center with a hospitality kitchen for community events and client meetings. For mediations, a parlor just off the meeting area has recessed sliding glass doors that close when privacy is needed.

The Stephen T. Dean Board Room is a focal point of the new design. Named for one of the founders, the meeting space features contemporary furnishings, state-of-the-art technology and spectacular views of the city.

It was important to us to honor Mr. Dean’s legacy in this manner. His core philosophy was for our lawyers to become a part of the fabric of the communities we serve, and we’ve always remained committed to giving back. Our new location in the heart of downtown Orlando keeps us grounded in his vision.

Each year, the Golden Brick Awards recognize organizations demonstrating design excellence and contributions to the economic vitality of downtown Orlando. We’re pleased to congratulate all the award recipients and finalists.
