Fort Pierce, Fla. – Brad Gould, Shareholder at Dean, Mead, Minton & Zwemer, and a member of the Board of Governors of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), was the recipient of the “Special Chair Service Award” at the FICPA Mega CPE Conference on June 14, 2014 in Orlando, FL. The award was presented to Gould for serving as Chairman of the FICPA’s Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Task Force, which was created in November 2013. In addition, he served as a guest panelist on Federal Tax Issues for Same Sex Couples at the conference, which was held June 11-14th at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando.
Gould practices in the area of federal income, estate, and gift tax law and family business succession planning and represents businesses and business owners in all types of corporate and tax matters, including choice of entity, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and other general business matters. He represents individuals, companies and fiduciaries before the Internal Revenue Service. In addition to being an attorney, he is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Gould received his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, with honors, in 2001. He received his Master of Accounting and his Bachelor of Science degrees in 1998 from the University of Florida.
