(Tallahassee, FL) With just a few weeks left to provide comments, Dean Mead’s Director of Government Affairs Jennifer Ungru has published “The CMS Proposed Rule: What You Need to Know Now.” The article discusses proposed rules on performance targets and those drafted in hopes of helping the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) achieve its goals.
The authors states “With just over a month left to prepare responses to the CMS proposed rules, long term care providers continue to review the potential changes to Medicaid home and community based care services (HCBS). The CMS proposed rule sees to increase quality and expand access to these long term care services.”
