The EB-5 Regional Center Program has been reauthorized during the three week U.S. Government extension, and USCIS has resumed [as of January 28, 2019 and ending on February 15, 2019] adjudicating I-526 Petitions and Adjustment of Status Applications. However, we anticipate a new EB-5 bill in the near future, which will most likely substantially increase the required capital. Prospective investors should take advantage of the government extension and file their I-526 Petitions as soon as possible to avoid having to invest substantially more, should the new bill pass.
